The Role

DDF is looking for a creative, proactive, and digitally savvy Communications Officer to shape and amplify the Foundation’s voice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, experimenting with innovative communication tools, and turning complex project results into engaging content with real impact.

You will lead both internal and external communication of the foundation, strengthen the visibility of donor-funded projects, and ensure that DDF’s activities reach the right audiences in compelling and modern ways.

What You Will DO

Create & Amplify

  • Design and implement dynamic communication and visibility strategies for DDF and its projects.
  • Translate project achievements into engaging stories, visuals, videos, and campaigns.
  • Ensure strong and compliant donor visibility across all platforms and materials.

 

Own the Digital Space

  • Manage and grow DDF’s social media presence and website.
  • Experiment with innovative digital tools, formats, and analytics to increase reach and engagement.
  • Monitor performance and engagement to improve communication effectiveness

 

Connect Internally & Externally

  • Strengthen internal communication and information flow across teams and projects.
  • Coordinate with partners, media, and stakeholders to amplify DDF’s messages.

 

Bring Events to Life

  • Support project teams with communication materials, event visibility, and public outreach
  • Coordinate branding and messaging for conferences, workshops, and public initiatives
  • Create compelling pre- and post-event communication content.
  • Coordinate the logistical and organizational aspects of events in close collaboration with project teams, including timelines, agendas, speakers, and on-site coordination to ensure smooth delivery.

What We Are Looking For

  • University degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–3+ years of experience in communications, preferably within NGOs․
  • Experience working with large-scale donor-funded projects.
  • Strong content creation skills and a keen eye for storytelling.
  • Hands-on experience with social media, websites, and digital tools (Canva, Adobe, CMS, scheduling and analytics tools, AI-based tools, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Armenian and English (Russian is an asset).
  • Curious, innovative mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
