Grant Amount: 1,693,480 AMD

Purpose: The project aims to support Tavush TV in creating quality media content and providing wider coverage on the life in the borderline communities of Tavush region. The TV will produce and broadcast series of reports prepared by young journalists, reflecting on the issues of social justice, human rights, environmental protection and development of the rural areas.
The grant is awarded within the “European Media Facility in Armenia – Building Sustainable and Professional Media” project funded by EU and implemented by the consortium of DW Akademie (lead organization), BBC Media Action, Democracy Development Foundation, Investigative Journalists, NGO (Hetq.am) and Factor Information Center.
