DDF initiative delivers interactive performance on the prevention of school bullying to 400 students

Democracy Development Foundation and CommsHub Foundation supported the Theatre of Change cultural non-governmental organization in staging four performances on the prevention of school bullying for schools of the Ararat and Kotayk regions during March.

“The Fall Fairy Tale: Three plus One Little Pigs” performance was watched by a total of 400 students, including children forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.

The performances were staged with the aim of raising the awareness of schoolchildren about human rights, encouraging respect towards peers and schoolmates, and prevent bullying.

The interactive performances were staged under the “Civil Society for You initiative”, which brings together nine Armenian civil society organizations in a joint effort to safeguard human rights and dignity.

The nine organizations have carried out public campaigns on a variety of issues: inaccessibility of preschool education, young persons’ participation in community decision making, fighting corruption, reforms of the Interior Ministry, ensuring the equal rights of citizens, supporting women affected by and displaced because of the war, providing asylum and services to victims of domestic violence, equality, and non-discrimination.
