Justice and Anti-corruption Reforms

    Grant Amount: 26,640,000 AMD

    Purpose: The project aims to safeguard democratic governance and accountability in Armenia by sustaining independent anti-corruption oversight and strengthening evidence-based advocacy, public engagement, and institutional resilience. The program is implemented within the framework of the “Sustainable, Impactful and Inclusive Civil Society” (SIICS) program, implemented with the support of the European Union by the Democracy Development Foundation, People in Need, NGO, and “Boon” Scientific-Cultural Foundation.

    Grant Amount: 26,640,000 AMD

    Purpose: The project aims to strengthen human rights protection and access to justice in Armenia by advancing targeted legislative reforms and contributing to justice sector policy development through evidence-based advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and public communication. The program is implemented within the framework of the “Sustainable, Impactful and Inclusive Civil Society” (SIICS) program, implemented with the support of the European Union by the Democracy Development Foundation, People in Need (PIN), NGO, and “Boon” Scientific-Cultural Foundation.

    Grant Amount: 26,640,000 AMD

    Purpose: The project is aimed at strengthening the rule of law, access to justice, and compliance of Armenian legislation and practice with European and international human rights standards through legal research, policy analysis, legislative advocacy, and strategic litigation. Through expert legal opinions, baseline studies, strategic cases, institutional advocacy, and cooperation with national and international mechanisms, the project contributes to sustainable systemic reforms and stronger protection of fundamental rights in Armenia. The program is implemented within the framework of the “Sustainable, Impactful and Inclusive Civil Society” (SIICS) program, implemented with the support of the European Union by the Democracy Development Foundation, People in Need, NGO, and “Boon” Scientific-Cultural Foundation.

    Grant Amount: 32,328,768 AMD

    Purpose: In the framework of this project, Protection of Rights without Borders (PRWB), NGO will carry out monitoring of the justice sector reforms with the purpose of contributing to their integrity and increasing their effectiveness. In particular, the grantee will monitor the selection processes of candidates for judges, the disciplinary measures used in the judiciary, as well as the budgeting and optimization processes of judicial bodies.

    Grant Amount: 21,492,787 AMD

    Purpose: The purpose of the project is to contribute to having effective, transparent, and accountable reforms in the justice sector in Armenia. Helsinki Citizens Assembly-Vanadzor will carry out extensive monitoring of court hearings and proceedings in order to make a substantiated assessment of the work of judicial actors. The grantee will also continue the monitor of the processes related to ongoing police reforms and the establishment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

    Grant Amount: 29,052,514 AMD

    Purpose: The purpose of the project is to increase public awareness of the institutional reforms in the justice sector that are currently being implemented in Armenia. In this regard, the Public Journalism Club will produce and disseminate media products related to the reforms processes, organize public awareness campaigns, and hold discussions on relevant issues. The Grantee will also hold training sessions for increasing the communication capacities of civil society.

    Purpose: The project aims to support publication of journalistic investigations to help to prevent corruption and contribute to transparent and accountable management of public funds. To this end, the project will prepare journalistic investigations, analytical and informative articles regarding the asset declarations of high-ranking officials, possible conflict of interest cases and corruption risks in different sectors.
